My Future...

I am accepted for school in February.
To become a Crane Operator.
While it wasn't my first choice; all the stars aligned in unbelievable ways; it may be the best choice.
It's a wonderful time to be a woman in the trades...

How fabulous Andrea! The odd thing about this is that I was just asking my husband the other day how someone learned to operate a crane and was there a school for that? Well, apparently so!!

I will be thinking of you now, swinging those loads around with the greatest of ease and a most delicate touch, whenever I see a crane. Congratulations!

Oh gosh.
Let me say, operating heavy machinery well is a sort of ballet. I only say this because RW is an expert backhoe operator and he can do the most shockingly delicate things with one of those machines. It's like watching John-Deere-Swan-Lake! You're going to be amazing at crane operation!

...and you'll probably look real sexy in a hard hat and Carhartts.

Girls rule the world.

I have been away for awhile. Just catching up on my reading.

I must say your future sounds fabulous (which makes sense seeing that you are fabulous).

I agree it is a great time to be in the trades. a wonderful, exhilarating time.

From now on, whenever I see a crane, I will think of you.
